Don't hide, be seen!

Social Media Works.
(when done correctly)

The Environment Today

  • 8 in 10 Americans get their information from Mobile devices

  • Brands win followers by connecting with great content

  • Great content adds value, it doesn't "preach"

  • To be seen, you need to be brave

  • Great content gets shared, and shared, and shared...

The Protempis Category

  • Typically boring use of social media

  • There's huge opportunity to "own" social media without spending tons of money

  • Creating original content that carries a strong, consistent concept is paramount

  • Creating a Social Media Calendar is key to growth

Social Media Focus

• Industry Insights

Episodic Content

What is Episodic Content?

Episodic content marketing is content broken into bite-size pieces. The content is a story with a plot that reveals more to the viewer with each episode. It can be an effective way of storytelling that draws audiences members back for more.

Strategy

We currently have 239 subscribers

The goal here is to coordinate the social media messaging with the email in a way that allows both mediums to work together to get attention and engagement. Because of our limited budget for production, we are committing to the following to help out:

Frequency: To ramp up this will take an investment of time to build the foundation

Community Management: This takes the most time but it's critical to your success. Once the systems are set up it will be simple. It involves competitive research, hashtag research, posting timing maximization, etc.

Creative: David and Caroline to work together to do the design and writing

Surveys: We'll also send out surveys to help us better target messaging based on clever questions to our followers.

Delivery Technique

There are quite a few social media techniques that are markedly more effective when engaging and delivering content that's longer. Better performing creative presents information in chunks with visuals to make going through and learning more fun.

• Carousels utilize swiping

• Memes are static images of GIF's

• Short Video w and w/o sound

• Surveys

We identify all of the key challenges all of our products solve. Then we create a series of creative ideas that set up the problem and deliver Protempis as the creative and powerful solution.

The more outrageous the visuals are to set up a metaphor for a problem the better. We then pay it off with a solution to that problem with a creative use of that metaphor.

Since timing solutions are somewhat vague to most people, we use catchy and creative analogies to demonstrate what we mean.

Proof

• Millions of devices shipped annually

• Explain timing solutions graphically

• Engineering perspectives

• Processes that set us apart

Community Management.

Community management is the future of digital strategy. Why? It's the best way to connect with your audience. A community manager's job is to be the brand's tone, voice, and human element that holds it together – and carries it farther. It is also their job to project a brand's values and nurture their customers online.  How is it done? Social listening. A CM will monitor industry-related keywords and hashtags that mentions your brand or industry.

Water over a rock.

Social media is all about quality of content, consistency, uniqueness, willingness to take chances, user-engagement, promotions, recognizable voice and frequency.

In that order.

This plan is affordable and can give Protempis a unique stance in the category unlike anyone else. It will drive perceptions of leadership, product quality, category knowledge, perception of innovation and give your customers something to hang their hats on each week. When done correctly, you'll have people looking forward to your posts, ready to learn, laugh and share!
